Mike Ruic is a highly experienced pilot and senior executive in the aviation industry. Before founding JetChecked, he dedicated over 25 years to fostering a safety-first culture at a private jet airport he operated. During this time, he provided exceptional customer service to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth families, Fortune 100 companies, sports teams, top music groups, and A-list actors.

Mike's passion for aviation, safety, and his commitment to creating unique customer experiences earned him recognition and awards from notable organizations, such as Philips 66, ExxonMobil, Florida Dept of Transportation, American Legion and the Department of Defense's Special Operations Command.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and two dogs named Luke and Riley. He also has a strong passion for fishing and is equally comfortable with a fly rod in the salt marshes of his native Florida as he is in the sky, pursuing prized catches like tarpon, permit, or bonefish.
